Three Welsh crime writers who have set their fiction abroad talk about what drew them to European settings as various as Venice, Catalonia and the Balkans, and what impact their Welsh heritage has on how they view those settings.
The panel will comprise Philip Gwynne Jones, Chris Lloyd and Cal Smyth, and the chair is Pippa Davies.
Crime Cymru is a Welsh Crime Writing Collective whose authors live in Wales, identify as Welsh, or set their books in Wales. The group aims to support crime writers with a real and present relationship with Wales; to help in the development of new writing talent and to promote Wales, Welsh culture, and Welsh crime writing in particular, to the wider world.
