Crime is the most-read genre in Britain and much of it is found and consumed via Amazon. When accessed online, it is not easy to tell what work is self-published and what is traditionally published. But does it matter? The panel, all of whom have experience of both models, will discuss the pros and cons of having a publisher and going it alone. Welsh crime authors Matt Johnson, Gail Williams, Eamonn Griffin and Nigel Williams discuss.
Audience participation in the form of questions will be encouraged at this event.
Crime Cymru is a Welsh Crime Writing Collective whose authors live in Wales, identify as Welsh, or set their books in Wales. The group aims to support crime writers with a real and present relationship with Wales; to help in the development of new writing talent and to promote Wales, Welsh culture, and Welsh crime writing in particular, to the wider world.
